THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING KIND & POLITE

Being kind & polite means that your behavior shows respect for the rules that the majority follow, or in other words, act in a civilized way to avoid misunderstanding, friction & conflict There are no laws enforcing respect. Yet we cannot interact with others without some rules of behavior, rules that are set by some form of social consesnsus.

These guidelines represent what a majority of people consider acceptable & what they consider unacceptable. For instance, many people talk at movies, or make boring conversations with their cellular-phones and so on . In fact their behavior is closer to that of animals than civilized individuals.

Remember, every little bit of kindness & good manners helps, namely, being polite & showing respect can give us an edge, & it is always a good idea to be kind & polite
